Individuals are elected to the Order of the Arrow by members of the Troop because these Scouts and Scouters best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives.
In Troop 520, Scouts who attain this honor become a part of the Arrow Patrol. Members of this patrol constitute Troop 520's Ceremonial Team. Working with their OA Advisor, Scouts make their own costumes, create their own ceremonial programs, which are regularly presented at Troop campouts, Courts of Honor and elsewhere.
